In conjunction with these types of organisation, Scyron is developing innovative solutions that reduce the amount of time taken to complete an engineering project.For example, we’re helping a transport company improve the way they undertake repairs in underground tunnels. The field engineer is in constant contact with the senior engineering so that any issues can be resolved on the job without having to re-schedule the work or escalate the issue. The solution comprises:
- The field engineer has a body mounted camera
- Images are transmitted via a secure wireless connection
- A mobile control centre above ground monitors the work and can see exactly what is happening
- If required, the images can be relayed to the senior engineer in real-time – wherever they are
- The senior engineer can gain access to the images on any web-enabled PC
