As digital video recorders (DVR) become more popular, this system analyses video footage directly from disk and logs all events in the sequences. With frame-accurate control, it dramatically reduces the time you have to spend manually analysing and reviewing video footage.
Key information - such as object size and position - is stored in a searchable database linked to the video file. video inspector (formerly DEMON analyse) finds the pre-defined events of interest and presents them on a timeline. Change search criteria and the system will instantaneously update the timeline, without having to reanalyse the footage.
The system automatically compensates for varying frame rates and allows analysis of 24 hours of video in under 20 minutes. Easy to use for untrained operators, it provide evidential quality export of events to standard Windows-based formats.

BATCHING
The longest part of the process for analysing your media is the Phase 1 analysis which goes through the entire footage and builds a database of every moving object in the footage. This is dependent on how “busy” your footage is but could take in excess of 30 minutes per disc.
To help make better use of your time, we have now created BATCH ANALYSER, which allows you to “stack” up your jobs and they will be processed overnight so when you return in the morning, your media will have already completed the phase 1 analysis. This leaves you to run the phase 2 analysis (choosing your targets and applying filters) for all the discs you loaded into the batch analyser.

Building on the STANDARD and BATCHING versions which are software only versions, Scyron has created a Mini-Tower desktop machine [VI7] which houses 7 DVD drives and includes the BULK DVD IMPORTER utility. This forms the basis of the extended tools which allow you to process more discs in less time.
This solution allows you to copy the contents of 7 DVDs simultaneously to a local or shared destination where you can then populate the Batch Analyser utility for overnight analysis. This is far quicker than only being able to copy 1 DVD at a time using your own hardware, and the machine is optimised to Batch analyse as fast as possible.
